Intermediate QA Engineer
Rep is the first AI-powered Concierge (sales chatbot) for eCommerce. It proactively engages disengaged site visitors and offers personalized shopping assistance, driving more sales while handling up to 90% of support requests.
We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our AI-powered Concierge platform. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving the overall product quality by developing and executing detailed manual test plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, UI, and exploratory testing for web-based applications.
- Execute manual test cases, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Continuously improve QA processes by identifying gaps and implementing best practices.
- Provide feedback on usability and contribute to improving the customer experience.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing.
- Engineering or Computer Science degree.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM).
- Experience testing web applications and APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document and communicate findings clearly.
- Experience with basic database queries (SQL or NoSQL).
- Preferred: Exposure to AWS services, Jenkins, MongoDB, and Shopify.
