How to use your brand font in the REP AI chat widget
You can set the REP AI chat widget to one of ten curated web fonts or link the brand font your store already hosts. Go to Settings > Chat Widget > Design > Basics, pick a preset under Font or choose Custom and paste a direct HTTPS link to a .woff2 file, and the font shows across chat, chips, the launcher, proactive messages and product pages.

Ten curated fonts
You'll find font just under Colors in the Basics tab of your chat widget settings. Pick one and the preview beside it answers straight away. These are open licensed web fonts, nothing to buy, nothing to host.
Link a custom font
If your brand font isn't in the list, choose Custom and paste a link to the file. Not an upload, a link. REP AI points at the file where it already lives and never hosts a copy.
Three link requirements
The easiest source is the font your theme already uses. Copy its direct link and paste it in.
Links that get refused
Paste something that isn't a direct woff2 link and you're told before you get to save. Right shape, but nothing loads. Save is blocked and the message names the way out.
Missing language characters
One case isn't an error. The file loads but has no characters for your language so the widget keeps its default font.
Where the font shows up
Save and new chat sessions pick it up right away, shoppers don't clear anything. It reaches everything REP renders on your storefront, though icons and emoji keep their own symbol fonts.
You keep the license
That's the whole trade: you keep the file and the license, and REP keeps a safety net under it.
Common questions
Can I use my own brand font in the REP AI chat widget?
Yes. Under Settings > Chat Widget > Design > Basics, choose Custom and paste a direct HTTPS link to a .woff2 file you already host, such as your theme's font.
Why won't my custom font link save?
The link must start with https://, point directly at a .woff2 file and be publicly reachable from a host that allows other sites to load it. Links that fail are blocked before save with a message that says how to fix it.
Do shoppers need to clear their cache to see the new font?
No. Save, and new chat sessions pick it up right away.
