How REP AI offers store credit for damaged orders on Shopify
REP AI can settle a damaged-order claim with store credit, issued as a Shopify gift card only after the shopper says yes. You pick store credit as the remedy in the Damaged order support skill, approve Shopify's gift-card permission once, and set the most a claim can be worth and when the credit expires; claims above your limit go to your team.

Store credit as a remedy
Store credit is one more way a damaged claim can end. It creates gift cards in your store, so Shopify asks you to approve that once.
Set your limit and expiry
Above your limit, nothing is issued. The claim goes to your team instead. Expiry is set per credit, counted from the day it's issued.
The offer in chat
REP checks the photo against the order before any remedy is on the table. The amount is what was paid for the mug, and nothing is issued without a yes.
Gift card code and record
The code is shown once right here, and Shopify emails the same gift card to the shopper. Each credit is marked on the conversation it came from, and you get an email naming the order.
Common questions
Can REP AI give store credit for a damaged order?
Yes. In the Damaged order support skill you can pick store credit as the remedy; REP checks the shopper's photo against the order and issues a Shopify gift card for what was paid, only after the shopper agrees.
Why does REP AI ask for Shopify gift card permission?
Store credit is issued as a Shopify gift card, so Shopify asks you once to approve permission to create gift cards and update customers.
Can I cap how much store credit the AI gives?
Yes. You set the most a claim can be worth and when the credit expires; above that amount nothing is issued and the claim goes to your team.
