QA Automation Engineer
Rep is the first AI-powered Concierge (sales chatbot) for eCommerce. It proactively approaches disengaged site visitors and offers shopping assistance for everyone. As a result, Rep sells more stuff and handles up to 90% of all support requests.
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI-powered Concierge platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing solutions to enhance our testing processes and accelerate product delivery.
You will:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and/or Puppeteer frameworks to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of our AI-powered Concierge platform.
- Collaborate with software developers and QA team members to identify test scenarios, design test cases, and automate repetitive testing tasks.
- Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team in a timely manner.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to provide input on testing efforts and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Continuously improve our testing infrastructure and methodologies by identifying areas for automation, implementing best practices, and incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automated testing technologies to enhance our testing capabilities and optimize our QA processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript programming language, with hands-on experience in developing automated test scripts using Selenium and/or Puppeteer frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, etc.) and experience in testing web applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate findings effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
- Candidates with exposure to AWS services, Jenkins, MongoDB, and Shopify are preferred.
